Shore Acres is a tropical waterfront community in northeast St. Petersburg, only minutes from downtown and easy access to Tampa.
Shore Acres is a desired place for sports lovers. Home to some of the City’s amazing neighborhood parks: Denver Park, Puryear Park with tennis courts, baseball field, basketball court, sand volleyball pit and walking trail around the park.
The beautiful community of Shore Acres in St. Petersburg, Florida is a peninsular coastal community on the east coast of Pinellas County. Extending from Mangrove Bay and Tanglewood into Old Tampa Bay, it is connected to Snell Isle and Northeast Park by bridges. Weedon Island State Preserve is to the north and to the east. Nearby 4th Street offers many restaurant options such as Harvey’s 4th Street Grill, Ciccio’s, Red Mesa Cantina, Fresh Kitchen, Bonefish Grill, El Cap, Metro Diner and many more. The Islander Market is a convenience store within the community on Chancellor Street. There are two Publix grocery stores at either corner of 38th Avenue North – yes there really are 2 Publix grocery stores directly across from one another. As for schools, Shore Acres Elementary is right within the community. There are several private schools to choose from in the local area:
Canterbury School of Florida on 62nd and the Snell Isle location is for the younger children for up to grade 4

LCC Day School on Chancellor Street in the neighborhood
You will find a park in Shore Acres at 40th Ave NE and Shore Acres Boulevard and the Shore Acres Rec center.
What else can you do for fun in the community? This is also a great place to ride bikes, go fishing, walk the dog or go for a run. Also there is an aquatic facility with one wade pool perfect for toddlers, plus a six lane pool, covered playground, half court basketball court, picnic shelter and there are a variety of programs for youth, teens and adults.
